AS AN ACTOR, Maria Howell began her career as the choir soloist in the Oscar nominated film, “The Color Purple”, and has since appeared in hit TV shows such as Life=me's, “Army Wives”, Marc Cherry's, "Devious Maids”, Eric Kripke and J.J. Abrams' apocalyptic, “RevoluDon”, and “Aquarius", starring X-Files' David Duchovny, both on NBC. She also guest starred on CBS’s “Criminal Minds” and “The Resident“. She recurred in Bounce TV's, "Saints & Sinners" for 3 seasons as Lt. Hawkins. Addi=onal theatrical credits include,“The Blind Side”, “Hunger Games: Catching Fire”, “Hidden Figures”, Hallmark’s Hall of Fame “A Christmas Love Story”, starring Kris=n Chenoweth, Hallmark’s Mahogany Movie “To Her, With Love”, and “Summer Camp”, starring Alfre Woodard, Kathy Bates, and Diane Keaton. Most recently, Maria was cast in a recurring role, in the historic CBS soap opera, “Beyond the Gates”, starring Tamara Tunie and CliRon Davis.
AS A SONG STYLIST in her own right, Maria has shared the musical stage with such legendary artists as Nancy Wilson, George Benson, Ray Charles and Earl Klugh. ARer a very successful 6 year stint in Asia, Maria relocated back to the U.S. and performed at Sambuca Jazz Café for 9 consecutive years…from 2002, until its closing in December 2010. She and pianist Bill Wilson (son of legendary jazz pianist Teddy Wilson), held the distinction of being the longest running act at the Atlanta location. Since then, she has traveled extensively, performing at well known jazz/supper clubs, performing arts theaters, and festivals across the U.S.
AS A VOICEOVER ARTIST Maria lends her voice to numerous TV and radio commercials, animation, video games, and audiobook narrations. She was personally requested to narrate 9 books wriben by NY Times Bestselling Author, Kimberla Lawson Roby.
Maria is not only an actor and singer, but a very devoted supporter and Advisory Board Member of several charitable organizations: Students Without Mothers, The James M. Dixon Foundation, Tosco Music, and Ava’s Heart.

Sean Freeman is an American actor whose talent, discipline, and screen presence are quickly establishing him as one of television and film’s rising stars. A native of Ozark Dothan, Alabama, Sean’s journey reflects a powerful combination of education, perseverance, and artistic passion.A two-time graduate of Troy University, Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a Master of Science in Speech Communication. Television audiences recognize him from BET’s Tales, where he appeared opposite Ja Rule, as well as a recurring role on Bounce TV’s Finding Happy, starring B. Simone. His commercial credits include national campaigns for the NFL and The Home Depot, further expanding his visibility. Currently, Sean stars as Andre Richardson in CBS’s newest daytime drama, Beyond the Gates. His portrayal of the smooth, layered, and mysterious character has already begun capturing national and international attention, signaling the start of an exciting new chapter in his career.
